Important Session Info
Hospital sessions and all other events are open to
Muralcles members ONLY! (Click here if you are not yet a member!) If you
want to attend a session, please visit your OrgSync events page to sign
up. If
you cannot attend after signing up, please contact the coordinator as
soon as possible to inform them, so that others might take your place. And most important, have fun! You are helping to
brighten the lives of children, parents, and hospital staff!
If you are attending a session, please observe the
following guidelines:
- DO NOT come if you are sick or think you may be
getting sick!
- Wear your Muralcles shirt and closed-toed shoes.
University Medical Center (UMC)
Directions

The UMC is located at the
intersection of Campbell and Adams, just north of the University of
Arizona, at 1501 N Campbell Ave, Tucson, AZ 85724.

Parking is available at the UMC
for a fee. Your ticket can be validated at the Nurse's Station. The
UMC is also on the CatTran
route.
To get to the UMC Playroom:
From the main lobby of the UMC take the main elevators to the third
floor.
When you get off the elevator make a right down the hallway.
Make a right at the first corridor (the East Pediatric Wing).
Push the intercom button to be let in by the nurse's station.
The playroom is immediately on your left.
Once in the playroom, find the
session coordinator to sign in and get information on the crafts and
activities you can participate in.

Tucson Medical Center (TMC)

The TMC is located at the
intersection of Grant Rd. and Beverley Ave., North-East of the
University of Arizona, at 5301 E. Grant Road Tucson, Arizona
85712.

Parking is available at the TMC for a fee. Your
ticket can be validated at the nurse's station. Please contact the
appropriate session coordinator for information on car pools. To
get to the TMC Playroom: From
the southwest campus outpatient entrance enter the hospital and
follow the signs that read Pediatric rooms (not pediatric surgery).
Halfway down the hall you will turn right and pass outdoor gardens
on either side of the hall as well as an outdoor playground on the
right. Continue to follow the pediatric signs. The last double doors
on the right is the pediatric ward. Press the buzzer to be let in by
the nurses. The playroom is the fifth door on the right. Once in the playroom, find the
session coordinator to sign in and get information on the crafts and
activities you can participate in. |
